My name is Jackie Stockden. I’m a passionate, qualified midwife with just under 10 years’ experience in maternity and labour wards, where I have helped hundreds, maybe thousands, of moms.
I’m a mother of two small children and know the world of motherhood can be a daunting one. With support and encouragement, you can glide through it with confidence and ease.
I believe that with knowledge, and by being informed about your options, everyone can have a wondrous birth experience and enjoy the first stages of parenting.

Antenatal classes
Unbiased classes covering natural birth to caesarean, breastfeeding to bottle, and a chance to meet other parents.
Baby wellness consults
Practical advice on growth, sleep, feeding and routines, at my Durban North clinic or at your home.
Mommy meet-ups
Relaxed get-togethers with other moms. Each one covers a different topic, from post-delivery care to starting solids.
